Better than the first bookThis book is better than the first book。 The cliffhanger will leave you crying 😢 😭 💔 if you have triggers regarding sexual abuse。 You will probably want to skip last chapter。

This is a dark bully romance that continues from Book 1。 There is growth with the main characters， the push and pull of attraction， and need， but also the threat of rival family manipulation。 There are lots of unknowns， losses， and dangers to maneuver through。 We need Book 3 after that cliffhanger。 I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review。

It's great to finally be re-acquainted with Quinton and Aspen and I like the fact that DDQ started off exactly where the last book ended with Aspen in a deadly helicopter crash she came out with a broken leg but the pilot died。 Life is set to get brutally worse for poor Aspen especially having to rely on people like Quinton and Ren to help her out which in itself isn't easy。Matteo is still very much in this gritty storyline and a complete pain in the butt especially when Aspen is dragged to a Ha It's great to finally be re-acquainted with Quinton and Aspen and I like the fact that DDQ started off exactly where the last book ended with Aspen in a deadly helicopter crash she came out with a broken leg but the pilot died。 Life is set to get brutally worse for poor Aspen especially having to rely on people like Quinton and Ren to help her out which in itself isn't easy。Matteo is still very much in this gritty storyline and a complete pain in the butt especially when Aspen is dragged to a Halloween party despite her reluctance so when Matteo displays a huge projector with her and Q on she is truly hurt and mortified （god I hate the guy！）Quinton is still set on his agenda to find out what secrets the niece has on her uncle and Dean of Corium and decides to rug her dorm with cameras。Then for poor Aspen it only gets worse much worse but it's always Quinton who comes to her rescue and his feelings are truly getting mixed up for the girl he's supposed to hate。A fab bully romance with endless twists and turns but imagine being an enemy and a saviour all in one it's truly twisted I can't wait for the final book which should decide their fate。 。。。more

It’s so angst！！！ I can’t believe I have to wait again for the third book。 When I thought things couldn’t get worse， it happened！ I’m not going to write much since I don’t want to spill or assume anything before it ends。 Still， the adults’ behavior towards Aspen doesn’t sit right with me。 But， it’s a part of the conflicts。 Overall， 4。5/5！

Speechless Couldn’t put it down until the end。 Overall great story， there are so many layers to Aspen and Q and also the other characters。 It shows how often time the sins of the fathers affect them or their enemies will come and collect and the ones that will pay the price are their children even if they are innocent。 The ending just broke me。 I just don’t know what to think anymore。 Can Aspen and Q survive？ So many questions…。
